Musicians' dinner in Demon Hands

We did a dinner with musicians in Budapest. There were musicians who had focal dystonia, a semi-professional pianist who is a doctor and he has beeng having focal dystonia for 20 years he could not recover it yet and other musicans who do not have any problems with their hands, one guy who was a great pianist but he had tendon problem so he stopped his musician carrier and became the most significant classical music media owner/entrepreneur in Hungary.

Mr Ede Roth Hungarian guiarist and teacher. He had focal dystonia for 28 years. He fixed it by himself without help. He was Sandor Mester's teacher. Sandor Mester could restart his soloist carrier with his help. He speaking in the film about his focal dystonia that is recovered now as well as about classical music life in genereal.



Martin Mislivecek, Checz guitarist and teacher. He has been having focal dystonia for more than ten years he is fixing now and getting better and better.

György Jerovetz, Hungarian pianist. He had focal dystonia for 4 years. Sandor Mester helped him to fix it. He is ok now.

David Leisner

David Leisner was unable to play the guitar for 12 years but eventually managed to conquer is dystonia on his own and his hands have been fine for more than a decade now. As well as being a successful composer, he teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and performs throughout the world. He is a fantastic person and very much open-minded. He was very nice to give us an interview. We did it in New York. He tries to help others to cure dystonia.

Photos about Robert Maly the cameraman of Demon Hands. There were other people who were working with us on Demon Hands as cameramen but Robert was the main one. Pictures were done in Barcelona when we did shootings in Terrassa and in Barcelona.

Device for piano player in Terrassa


Special device that they use in for piano players Institut de Fisiologia i Medicina de l'Art in Terrassa to get back the right movements of the fingers. This is part of the cure.

Shootings

We did shootings in Budapest, Hannover, Barcelona and New York. The music for the fim were done in Portugal in Black Sheep Studios by MS3 (Sandor Mester) who is the script writer of the film as well. The film was directed by Eszter Hajdu.
